Halloween....what are you? I dont get it.

I like to come up with original costume ideas for Halloween that don't cost an arm and a leg. This year I decided I wanted to be the Gyro girl from those old 80's posters, "The who?" seems to be everyone's response that I explain this to. I'm beginning to get discouraged- does no one remember the phallic posters in the windows of practically every liquor store/sandwich shop? Maybe it was an East Coast thing...or maybe I need to give it up a be a ghost.....
